HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ONCE WE START
We immediately start working on your new website project as soon as everything is agreed upon initially. Most websites fall within the 2-4 week time frame from start to finish. It really all just depends on what features you'll want your website to have.
CAN YOU TAKE MY OLD DESIGN AND REDESIGN IT?
Sure. We can modify some code on your website to change basic items, but working behind an older, messy web developer can be a huge pain, so it's almost always better to start from scratch. We can discuss several options here!
WHO REGISTERS THE DOMAIN NAME? (.COM)
If you do not currently have a website URL / domain name, we can assist you with purchasing this for you.
HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO PAY UP FRONT?
Once everything is agreed upon, you will pay a non-refundable 20% deposit (most of the time, we can re-negotiate this), then mid-way's through the web project, you'll pay an additional 30%, and then a final release of the remaining 50% after successful completion and execution of the website.
What happens in the beginning with figuring out what we're going to do?
Once we get the contract and initial payment out of the way, we will then focus on your websites needs and what you need to be able to accomplish with your website. Technology in the atlanta web development field has changed so much over the past 5 years, that we want to be able to incorporate those useful and interactive technologies for your customers to use.
Will I have a say in the design of the website?
Absolutely. Before we even start designing, we'll want you to show us 3-4 websites that you like the "look and feel" of, tell us which elements of each website that you like. We'll then base parts of our designs off of what you enjoyed from some of these other websites. Let's say you like the way the navigation is setup from website #1, but you like the overall layout from website #2... We'll take those 2 elements, merge them together and create a product for you that is spot on to what you're looking for.
How long do you offer support after the website is finished?
We offer an unheard of 6 months of website support after a website is finished. This applies to small changes that you see here and there that you'd like changed. We will not charge you for this. We understand that when we launch the website for you, that there will be certain things you may want to change. We will take care of that for you free for the first 6 months, so take advantage of this time!
Why does Search Engine Optimization cost so much?
We get this question a lot. Sometimes, search engine optimization costs just as much as the actual website does. In fact, that's the case most of the time. Why? The answer is simple. You're paying for time, edits, reports and more time. Search engine optimization is on-going forever after your website is developed. Google's algorithisms (Google's SEO formula) change quite a bit, and when it does, we need to adjust some things on your website, let it get "indexed" by Google again, then run reports to see where you're ranking. Again, this is on-going and takes a lot of time.
Do you do any types of Social Media Marketing?
Yes, we can take care of setting up and linking all of your social media accounts to your website. You'll want to post reletive content to these websites pretty often. This keeps Google thinking that your website is "important". We will guide you through how to do this once the SEO has been finished on your website.
Do you offer any kinds of incentives if I refer someone to you?
Absolutely. We have a fantastic referral program. For each client you refer to us, we will write you a check for 15% of the contracted amount as soon as the project is completed with that particular client.
Will my website load correctly in all browsers (Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer)?
Yes. Every page of your website will load the exact same in every single browser, on every single computer.
Are your websites responsive? Will they load correctly on all of my mobile devices such as my iPad, iPhone, etc?
Yes. These websites do cost about 20% more to bulid, but rest assured, if you're using a tablet, iPhone, iPad, computer, laptop, etc, your website will load perfect on every single one of these devices.
